Grammys 2017: Red Carpet Hair & Makeup Inspiration

On the hunt for some summer hair and makeup inspiration? You need look no further than the red carpet!

Awards season always brings fantastic new styles to our attention and it’s always fun to create celebrity inspired looks using our all-natural, organic products.

Here’s some of our favourites from this year’s Grammys:

Rita Ora

Red eye shadow is set to be one of the biggest beauty trends for 2017 and whilst the idea may be a little off-putting to many, Rita Ora demonstrated how to wear it, perfectly, on the red carpet at the Grammys this year. There’s no denying that it is quite a daring look but it does have the ability to really make your skin pop with radiance provided that you have the right, warm skin tone for it. Got a cooler skin tone but still love the idea of a brightly coloured eye? Why not try a vibrant blue instead?

Rita opted for poker straight hair, tied back into a simple low ponytail for easy elegance, which complements her brave makeup choice just right – not overwhelming, but still cutting edge.

Chrissy Teigan

Chrissy Teigan sported the cut of the season for the Grammys, opting for the chop moments before showtime! Everyone is going crazy for the ‘lob’ right now and it’s easy to understand why.

Celebrity stylist Jen Atkin created this gorgeous new ‘do for Chrissy, with minimal layers and a lot of texture throughout the bottom.

Styled into messy, wet-look beachy waves with a deep side parting, this was a really versatile look, which Chrissy showed simply by flipping into a centre parting for the after-party for an instant costume change!

Our organic 4-in-1 conditioner can be used as the ultimate styling tool for your locks this summer and can help you to create your own beachy waves. Just layer on as much as required before styling for a lovely, soft hold.

Halsey

Musical sensation, Halsey, demonstrated how great cropped hair can look on the red carpet too!

This closely cropped Pixie cut seems to offer a surprising amount of versatility for such a small amount of hair, but the pushed up quiff style worked really well with her whole early 90s, sporty wardrobe (said to be inspired by TLC) which she said left her looking a little bit too much like Justin Bieber for their shared performance on the night!

Her androgynous look was a favourite for many at the Grammys, leaning just over to the feminine side with extra long lashes and large hoop earrings.

Camila Cabello

Camila Cabello is living proof that 70s inspired hair and makeup is still going strong for 2017. Yay!

With a ‘just off’ centre parting for a really effortless cool look, these are the kind of beachy waves that we can expect to see a lot more of this year. Easy to wear and easy to style – the ideal hairdo for day to night summer activities.

Minimal makeup matches this style best, as demonstrated by Camila. Strong brows play a major role here and eyes are kept simple with taupe, smokey makeup and nearly nude lips.

A radiant shimmer on the skin is a must to complete this look, so don’t forget to stock up on your ‘Golden Glow Illuminating Face Shimmer’ by Nourish.
